How we work

We are ready to meet scientists, startups and big company’s needs. With Fusiona-Videt we can screen up to 10 cell phenotypes with cancer, aging and cosmetics applications. If your cell marker or assay needs are not met, we also can develop new exclusive solutions.

In a phenotypic screen the effect of a new molecule is measured on a set of phenotypes that are relevant for the disease to be treated. In a target screen, the effect of a new molecule on a specific target is measured.

The screen that is better for you depends on the degree of knowledge of the disease and of your extract or molecule set. For example, cancer is a disease of deregulated cell cycle and cell death, thus targeting these phenotypes has more chances to find new relevant molecules to treat cancer than searching for specific targets.
